Desde Wordpress recomiendan la actualización a esta última versión, sobre todo si el blog permite registro de nuevos usuarios. Esta vulnerabilidad ha ocasionado que en menos de 1 mes se haya publicado esta revisión. La ventaja de wordpress es su versatilidad pudiendo complementar sus funcionalidades mediante plugins o widgets. También es posible su utilización como sencillo CMS albergando además de post, páginas estáticas.
Los plugins inicialmente más interesantes para su incorporación inmediata son los relacionados con la monitorización de estadísticas de acceso como Wassup , el cual está dando la información dinámicamente de los usuarios que se están conectando y que url están visitando, Google Analitycs, para una visión de las estadísticas más sesudo y detallado.
También son de gran interés por su utilidad el Google Sitemaps , con el cual podemos generar los sitemaps necesarios para controlar desde las herramientas del webmaster de google, Lighter Menus para limpiar las pantallas de menús y hacerlos desplegables.
Por último, me ha llamado mucho la atención Inline php cuya utilidad se centra en poder incluir líneas de código directamente en los post y páginas estáticas que escribimos desde Wordpress. Un ejemplo claro es poder llamar barras adicionales, nuevo menús, etc.
